I forget when I found this image. The date attached to the file says July 29 2005, which is later than I thought.
The image is of two British Police officers (in blue) arresting a terrorist (in white) in London. The suits were worn in order to not disturb or contaminate the evidence where said terrorist was living. It was the first time I had ever seen such an image and its frightening. There is no distinguishing the authority, the identity of order, and the mark of the overall suit, linking to contamination or sterility; in a post 9-11 world, this image pierced my eyes. The heroes were taking care of business, Al Qaeda was still carrying out attacks, and the image of the Hero, slimmed down to a mediated surface where no identity is carried out.
